• Delivery Date: June 29 - July 1

• Complete dispersion of all 7-8 year old mama cows, 1300-1450#, black cows and calves. Calves born February 10-March 20, sired by SimAngus and Angus bulls.

• Cows exposed back to SimAngus & Angus bulls beginning June 1, 2023. Good flesh condition, good disposition and excellent mothering ability. Complete spring & fall vaccination program on cows (BoviShield Gold VL5, ScourGuard & injectable Dectomax in spring; 8-way & Dectomax pour-on in fall)

• Calves branded and vaccinated (Enforce, OneShot BVD, UltraChoice 8, Dectomax), left hip brand

• Cows were sourced as replacement heifers from predominantly two ranches (Wolff Ranch, Circle, MT and Willis Ranch, Cokeville, WY) in 2017-2018 and have sired numerous breeding bulls and replacement heifers sold in annual production sale

Auctioneer's Note: 

Barker Cattle Company, located at Elba, ID, has been in production in southern Idaho for over 60 years, raising purebred and commercial Angus and Simmental genetics. Their annual production sale is held the last Tuesday in February at Burley Livestock, features 100 bulls and 50 replacement heifers. These cows were purchased as replacement heifers, rolled into their commercial program and have proven themselves through the extreme climate and weather conditions of southern Idaho, consistently raising high-producing calves.
